One address TO AVOID for any foreigner looking to buy pearls:

CHEN GUOCHUN
Nanjing East Road 558
Travelling Goods Building 2/F N°8
N°16 Shanghai, China

or Hongqiao International Pearl City
3721 Hongmei Road 2/F G-057
Shanghai China

He first show you true pearls, then he tries to sell you fake pearls at high prices. Absolutely a shop to avoid!!!

Hi!
I'm arriving in Shanghai Pudong Airport on 20th July at 7:10am and I want to catch a train T211 from Shanghai to Shenzhen at 12:34pm, thanks to maglev and metro getting to railway station on time shouldn't be a problem.
The problem is the ticket. I'm afraid that there will be no hard sleepers left when I get there. Is there any way I could book a ticket and pick it up at the railway station or somewhere else?

Free streams for watching chinese language TV online

I’m still a student at university now. My major is English, but I do love Chinese. Two of my friends at high school told me much about Chinese songs with romantic melodies and meaningful words. That’s why I started an extra class in Chinese last year. But in this class, we only focus on grammar and speaking. Therefore I’m so happy to find out these websites where I can find so many interesting things about lifestyle, culture and people in China. They are

If somebody knows some other ways to improve Chinese skills, please share!
